Again, probably for the third time in three weeks I am here. Once again, my Starcraft 2 does not seem to want to patch at all. This started when I was downloading the 3.0.0 patch, where the patch got stuck at Optimal with 250MB remaining. Somehow, I was able to fix it by moving the installation folder and having the Battle.net app re-find the installation.
Sadly, this is not working this time. I have 449 MB of patch data to download and the download is stuck at 0B/s.
I have tried the following:
- Modem Reset
- Turned Firewalls off
- Opened ports on my wireless hub
- Used the Scan and Repair tool in the bnet app.
- Changed my DNS to Google Public DNS servers
I would like to note that Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and Diablo 3 seem to be unaffected. I am able to apply the latest Heroes patch with no problems. This issue has ONLY affected Starcraft 2.

Do you have any sort of antivirus or security program installed? If so, have you tried disabling it? If that doesn't work, you may want to try uninstalling your security program, just as a temporary measure, and see if that helps. Afterwards, definitely reinstall your security program.

The launcher is connected since it brings in the news but no install, no evolution no nothing.

Have you tried changing regions in the Battle.net desktop app? Switching regions seemed to have resolved a similar issue for another player on the EU forums.

I'm also having the same issue. I've tried switching the regions and it didn't work for me.

Antivirus programs have all been turned off.
Just to add, I use Bitmeter to track my traffic because of my bandwidth limits. Despite it 'downloading' at 0 B/s, there is a huge increase in traffic when I let it sit like that (as if its actually downloading), but the progress bar never moves. Always sit at 0B/s and it never progresses.
I think its related specifically to Starcraft 2, as Heroes of the Storm patched with no problem in the same evening.
Edit: Resolved: I have no clue what happened but the game suddenly said it was fully patched.

Im having the same problem but mine is stuck at '193.08 MB' and downloading speed is at ' 926.19 KB/s'

<-- this. I just had the same issue, came watch for a forum solution, alt-tabed and saw it was done. I guess the progress bar is bugged for some reason

just have the patch running sitting there. It's either a bug with the bnet UI or a Blizzard issue all together.
My bet is on the latter as it just suddenly decided to work after I left it running for 5 ish hours.
This patch pretty much broke the game and Blizzard isn't saying a WORD about the issue.
I think I'm pretty much done with modern Blizzard games all together since there's nothing to do in WOW either and I prefer League over Heroes.

No matter what the numbers are the download continues in the backround. If you dont believe me, pause and continue the download after a few minutes.
At least this was the case with my download.

The whole download has restarted 3 times, just before reaching completion. 15 GB data wasted. Slowly starting to stop believing in Blizzard quality and service. :(

When you pause the download after 20/30 seconds, and then resume it again and check the remaining download size by hovering your mouse over the green download icon, does the size decrease?

I've had this same issue, oddly enough I resolved it while looking at this forum. Just hit Alt+Tab and mine popped back up and corrected itself. Idk how that matters but being tabbed off the launcher then alt tabbing back to it fixed mine.

Has this been resolved yet? Having the same problem for patch 3.1.3. Just a sliver of red in the progress bar and says downloading 172.99 MB remaining @ 0 B/s

Terminus and TheNomad, these steps may help, and can at least narrow it down. Let us know how it goes, and we can work from there.
