Sony Interactive Entertainment just released a brand new system software update for PS4. While it's numbered 6.0, it doesn't have a cool Daimiyo name.

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment made the system software update 6.0 for the PS4 available for download on the PlayStation Network.

The update weighs just north of 447 megabytes, and the patch notes are what you would have expected from decimal updates.

“This system software update improves system performance.”

Peculiarly, this is a full numbered update with no mention of actual new features which is pretty odd… even if it’s actually even. Yes. I know. This was a terrible, terrible pun. Don’t judge me.
